Sheeting is an extremely resilient silicone rubber. Silicone
displays excellent resistance to heat, weathering, ozone and
a wide range of chemicals. It is impervious to UV light, is
non toxic, chemically inert and will retain its flexibility
and properties over a wide temperature range.
Silicone rubber sheets are available in lengths up to 10
metres and 1000mm - 1200mm wide offering excellent physical
properties under a wide temperature range from -50°C to
+260°C with minimal effect on the properties of the sheet.
Available in various thicknesses from 0.3mm to 10mm for solid
material and 3mm to 10mm in sponge, and also reinforced. Colours
of white, red and translucent can be obtained.
Self adhesive backed sponge sheeting is available and solid
silicone sheet can be adhesive backed on request.
Jehbco has also recently added to its range high tear strength
vacuum blanket silicone rubber sheet. It is available 1800mm
wide from a 10 metres continuous roll. Available thicknesses
are 1.6mm and 3.2mm off the shelf.
Recent additions also include a 40 shore A (softer) silicone
sheet available in 3.0mm thick. It is sold off a 10 metre
roll and is 1200mm wide. |
